Maryland career program participants announced

The Maryland Thoroughbred Career Program has announced its six participants for 2019, the program set to run June 3-8.

The second annual class of the Maryland Thoroughbred Career Program will take place this summer, and participants were announced today.

The Maryland Thoroughbred Career Program encourages young people to work in the Thoroughbred industry and will launch in June.

The Maryland Horse Industry Foundation announced that it has awarded $29,000 in grants to nonprofits in the state in 2014.
