Lights of Medina shines brightest in Weber City Miss

The improving Lights of Medina benefited from the scratch of favored Jenda’s Agenda and won today’s Weber City Miss Stakes at Laurel Park.

Today’s Federico Tesio Stakes at Laurel Park was something of a replay of the Private Terms – but easier for Twisted Tom this time.

Oft-injured jockey Sheldon Russell will return to action Friday at Laurel Park.

The silent auction to benefit the PDJF will take place Kentucky Derby day and is organized by the Thoroughbred Racing Associations.

Undefeated Jenda’s Agenda will secure a spot in next month’s Black Eyed Susan Stakes with a win in Saturday’s Weber City Miss at Laurel Park.
