Gina Rosenthal scores twice in Del-certified stakes

Trainer Gina Rosenthal took two Delaware-certified stakes today at Delaware Park; Del Park lover Galiana had to be vanned off.

A pair of juveniles – Sunshine Included and Our Rombauer – made their first wins count in stakes company today at Delaware Park.

Trainers Claudio Gonzalez and Wayne Potts benefited from trainer bonuses during the just-concluded Timonium meet, which saw handle grow 12 percent.

Total handle in the mid-Atlantic region fell 25 percent in August versus July, and the daily average was off by nearly five percent.

Talented You Know Too was beaten by a lung infection last out. Saturday she’ll try to make amends in the G1 Spinaway for trainer Michael Gorham.
