Delaware Park adds day during final week of racing

Delaware Park, which lost a day to extreme heat earlier in the meet, has added a day during the final week of the meet that ends October 20.

Retired Racehorse Project will partner with Breeders’ Cup for this year’s big event, the Project announced today.

This week’s Stronach 5 will include two races from Laurel Park, two from Santa Anita, and one from Gulfstream.

The North American foal crop is down 2.3 percent versus 2017, the Jockey Club said today.
