Parx has a 12-race card on tap for this Tuesday afternoon. Post time for the opener is 12:55 p.m., and we’ve got Parx Racing picks.

How’d we do last Tuesday at Parx?

RACE NUMBERHORSESCOMMENTS
Race 93, 4, 6, 7Several firsters are in this group of 2yo maidens… One we’re not using but worth note is #1 Grandpa Dominick (8-1); the Orb colt is half to the multiple G3 winner Notacatbutallama, but trainer Montoya is 0-for-12 with 2yo first-timers… Violence is a hot young sire with the ability to throw precocious sorts, and trainer John Servis (14% with 2yo debut runners in special weight company) is hoping such is the case with #3 Kidnapped (5-2), who has a couple of 5f works under his belt… #6 Call Me G Q (8-1) showed a bit of speed before tiring in his debut, gets Lasix added… #7 Do It My Way (8-1) is showing three 5f moves in preparation…
Race 101, 8, 9Unappealing record for #1 Go Metro Girl (10-1), though she has been facing better; last time out was a mess, but in the race prior, against much better than these, this one ran a pretty good fourth, beaten less than two… Favored #8 Mucha Muchacha (5-2) has been second twice versus similar, perhaps is ready to strike here… #9 Smokin Princess (5-1) doesn’t seem likely to offer great value but one thing of note: three of the four horses that have finished ahead of her in her last two won their follow-ups; catches a modest group today…
Race 111, 5, 7, 8There’s some early lick in this heat, which inclines us in the direction of horses who’ll be running on at the end… Two that might fit that bill are #7 Disco Deja Vu (8-1), who rallied to win an open-company allowance last time at long odds in a career-best outing; and #8 Madam Meena (2-1), who disappointed last time at 3-5 but looked good in a dominant win two back… #6 Capital Q (4-1) has been second three straight versus similar and fought back last time after seeming to be done on the turn though was no match for the winner… If one of these does sneak away on the front end it might be #1 Philadelphia Belle (10-1), who’s shown the ability to throw down fast early fractions; if she can do that by herself, she might be hard to reel in…
WAGERING…A 50-cent Pick 3 using all of these will set you back $24.00. An exacta box in the 11th offers the possibility of a payoff if we can beat the chalk; that’ll cost $12.00 for a dollar.
