Trainer Larry Jones, hospitalized Saturday following a training accident, has returned to his Newark, DE home, Fox Hill Farm said on Facebook.

Fox Hill Farm, owned by Rick Porter, places many of their horses with Jones.

Jones, 57, was thrown from a horse during training hours on Saturday.  He had been hospitalized with injuries that reportedly included bleeding on the brain.

But by midday Tuesday, Fox Hill had posted on its Facebook page that Jones was “resting comfortably in his own bed.”

According to the farm, he has follow-up appointments to attend at which doctors will monitor his recovery.  In addition, the farm said, doctors had asked Jones not to return to work for at least four weeks, though, the statement said, “I am not sure if he will obey that one.”
