Charles Town cancels Thursday night card

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has canceled its card for Thursday night, January 11. The track’s statement:

“Due to the impact of the recent frigid temperatures and subsequent thaw on the racetrack, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has cancelled live racing for Thursday night, January 11.  Charles Town will remain open for simulcasting as scheduled with the resumption of live racing slated for Friday evening.”

The track conducted its first live card of 2018 on Wednesday, January 10.
