Trainer T. J. Aguirre, 24, will send out longshot Benny Havens in Saturday’s $200,000 Laurel Futurity — the first stakes starter of his career.

Benny Havens hung on to win the first race at Laurel Park Friday, giving young trainer T. J. Aguirre his first winner.
