Cordmaker lukewarm fave in Small S.

Six-year-old Cordmaker, leading a MATCH Series division, is the 4-1 morning line favorite for Saturday’s Richard W. Small Stakes at Laurel Park.

Sharp Azteca impressed in winning the City of Laurel, while Name Changer was clearly best in the Richard Small Stakes at Laurel Park.

The Richard W. Small Stakes, a 1 1/8 mile test, has drawn a full field, including multiple G3 winner Tommy Macho.

A year ago, Immortal Eyes upset the De Francis Dash for trainer Damon Dilodovico. He’s hoping to replicate that with Laurel-loving Smash and Grab.
