Charles Town has an eight-race Saturday card. Post time is the normal 7:00 p.m. Good luck!
In this rare three-turn $5,000 claiming event to kick off the card, #5 The Wayne Factor (2-1 morning line) owns one win and a pair of second-place finishes in last three outings and figures to be right there again. #3 Hot N Spicy Love (6-5) exits allowance company and likely assumes the favorite’s role in here. #2 Bacoli (5-1) makes second straight start against claimers after two tries facing starter allowance rivals. #1 Carter’s Run (10-1) already boasts four wins in eight starts this year and rates an upset chance.
In this one-turn dash for maiden $15,000 claimers, #5 Quite Suggestive (9-5) was sharp second last out against similar and should graduate here for owner-trainer Crystal Pickett. #4 Dance for a Dime (5-2) was good third last out in first try against maiden claimers after exiting maiden special weight company and certainly looms a major player in here. #6 Dianathehuntress (4-1) was fourth in lone previous try against maiden claimers and returns from maiden special weight foes for this spot. #2 Cook the Books (6-1) also returns to maiden claimers and could improve on fifth-place effort at the level last out.
In the lone allowance race on the card, #6 Eternal Heart (5-1) was good second against similar after graduating in her debut and gets the nod in this one-turn event. #7 Thislillimeofmine (6-1) draws favorable outside slot for trainer Javier Contreras and rates a serious upset chance here. #2 Dancing Destiny (9-5) defeated claimers last out and makes the jump back into allowance company for trainer Ben Feliciano, Jr. #1 Our Bad Girl (2-1) gives Feliciano a chance to run one-two here despite rail draw.
#4 Maz’s Magic (3-1) was good second last out to Bret’s Journey who defeated winners next out and should graduate in one-turn event for maiden $5,000 claimers. #5 Jamakin Me Run (5-2) returns from three outings at Laurel for Pickett and looms the favorite in here. #7 Galleon Light (7-2) was third in local debut against maiden claimers and could score in this spot. #8 Musta Never Met U (15-1) rarely hits the board but favorable outside draw could enhance his chances here.
#4 Burnin Ring O Fire (4-1) won a stake at two and seeks return to winning ways in this two-turn event for $5,000 claimers. #2 Bump Bailey (6-5) was sharp second in local debut for trainer Anthony Farrior and looms solid choice in this spot. #5 Bolt (2-1) makes his local debut for trainer Kevin Joy after spending first two seasons in Southern Florida. #1 Jacks City (10-1) has posted a series of modest tries since late February score.
#7 Promenade Princess (7-2) makes local debut for trainer Donald Barr after three tries against maiden claimers at Laurel Park and draws favorable post in this one-turn maiden special weight dash. #4 My Blonde Mary (3-1) was second in local debut at this level and certainly could graduate here. #2 Ms. Haiti (9-5) makes local debut after two outings against maiden claimers at Delaware and Laurel. #8 Bustin Bunny (12-1) was fifth in career debut against similar and could improve here with favorable outside draw.
#2 Eagle Pride (5-1) seeks second straight score for Pickett in this two-turn affair for $5,000 claimers. #5 Danz A Rebel (4-1) has been second twice in last three and could prevail here. #7 Donegal Aces (8-5) graduated two starts back against maiden claimers at Gulfstream and makes local debut for Farrior. #9 Golden Appeal (9-2) exits allowance company and returns to claimers where he won four starts back for trainer Ronney Brown.
#10 Be Be Bop (5-1) makes career debut for Figgins off consecutive ‘bullet’ gate works and should graduate at first asking in this one-turn dash for maiden $12,500 claimers. #6 I’moverthemoon (9-2) has been second twice in three tries against maiden claimers and could triumph in this spot. #2 Jen’s Orphan (2-1) was second last out at the level and three times in seven career tries and looms the favorite here for trainer John A. Casey. #4 Grecian Admiral (10-1) was third last out at the level and rates upset chance.
