1. #10 Great Access (4-1) – Finished behind Devilish Grin first time out, but made an earlier move and was closer to the pace so could improve with a bit less ground here
2. #2 Devilish Grin (5-2) – Nearly won in her debut and can be a winner here with some improvement off that effort in her second turf try
3. #9 Oscar’s Encore (7-2) – First time starter for Joe Sharp who uses Jose Ortiz on this filly by Oscar Performance who has a few works on turf
4. #6 Delver (12-1) – The lone mount of the day for Dettori which gives this filly the slight edge over Imminent Risk despite some slower works
Race 7 – Birdstone Stakes
1. #3 Game Warden (9-2) – Has won twice over this track and should have no issues with this distance as long as Santana keeps him mid pack and off the leaders
2. #2 Parchment Party (7-5) – The only one to win at this distance, but could have preferred the sloppy track in that one and needs to show it wasn’t a one-off effort
3. #4 Lambeth (5-2) – Goes back to dirt after a try on turf and may try to control the race from the start but faces a tough test here
4. #1 Strapped (15-1) – His best efforts have come going longer distance, so this should be one at a price that could perform better than usual
Race 8 – OC 100000n1x
1. #5 Midway Memories (3-1) – Out of a stakes race against tougher competition, this filly could get the right pace set up to close into and gets Irad Ortiz here
2. #4 Sol d’Oro (5-1) – Off a layoff and probably prefers a mile to any other distance plus has been bet to favorite in all three of her tries
3. #2 Duboff (6-1) – Enters off of a claiming win, but had one of the stronger efforts of this field in that one and could be in a good spot here
4. #7 Griselda (5-2) – Get’s the edge over So Darn Pretty do to the potential for a quicker pace in here and these strong connections that are heating up
Race 9 – Mdn 90k
1. #6 I Rest My Case (9-2) – The most competitive of the second time starters, with three works since her first try and solid connections to boot
2. #10 St. Brigid’s Cross (3-1) – Picked up some ground in the late stretch in her lone try, now getting another half furlong to run into and some more experience
3. #4 Setting Sun (5-2) – First timer for Miguel Clement and Flavian Prat who may be overbite but should still factor in based on these connections
4. #1 Neshika (10-1) – Didn’t threaten in her debut, but should show improvement here for Maker and keeps Santana who is having a great meet thus far
