1. #3 Quick Power Nap (6-1) – Hasn’t won in the last two years, but has run well over this turf course and should be closing late with a chance to break her losing streak
2. #4 Linarite (9-2) – This deep closer typically finds herself in the mix late even with a lack of wins, always hitting the board in her tries at this distance over this track
3. #9 Numero Seis (8-5) – Classier than most in here and typically takes command from the jump but needs to settle down the pace to win
4. #5 Midnightloveaffair (8-1) – A repeat of her last try could give her a chance as she steps up from a maiden claiming win into this company
Race 8 – Clm 12500
1. #4 Khafre (8-5) – Gelding by American Pharoah has never missed the board at this distance and should be controlling this race with good early speed
2. #1A Bold Endeavor (7-5) – Nine year old gelding by Bernardini has won his lone try at Saratoga and has no problems with this distance coming off a layoff
3. #3 Royal Tryst (9-2) – Adds blinkers but still is best suited closing late and will need to come from off the pace to have a chance to hit the board and get the distance
4. #7 Aula (20-1) – Questions from others leave this long shot who has been inconsistent at times but may be good enough to finish third or fourth
Race 9 – John Morrissey Stakes
1. #5 The Wine Steward (6-1) – The classiest of the bunch, this colt by Vino Rosso hasn’t been competitive in his last two but cuts back to an ideal distance for him
2. #9 Whatchatalkinabout (2-1) – Comes out of a grade III win which should make him the favorite here, but faces a large field and may be overbet
3. #12 Doc Sullivan (10-1) – Tough post but one of many who should offer value and has a good clip finishing in the money in his career
4. #2 Bank Frenzy (3-1) – A frequent winner who often runs well and has two wins over this track, this gelding may prefer longer distance but should still factor in
Race 10 – OClm 40000
1. #2 Sweet Dutchess (4-1) – Off a long layoff but has performances that compare well to this group even if she may need to sit off the pace to win
2. #3 Duboff (3-1) – Outside of her stakes try, this filly has been competitive in three other races including two wins but steps up in class here
3. #9 Annelle (6-1) – Drops from a higher level allowance race into this field, but may need some pace to aim at to be a winner in this spot
4. #10 Bread to Run (8-1) – Tougher post for this filly by Authentic, but clearly prefers the turf and has real chances if this race stays on
