RACE 1

7. Sincerito	Might have had to do more of the work than connex had hoped in latest when going to the attack after a half-mile; this race projects with him a bit farther back of a more contentious pace
1. Global Phenom	Terrific effort in latest when taking heat throughout and staying on for second, but pace could get hotter here
10. Casino Night	Showed nothing in short sprint last out, but we’re inclined to draw a line through that for the moment

RACE 2

5. Tacit Value	Even outing in latest going two turns but cutback today should help; first two outings were solid
4. Meatballsforaries	Second foal out of a stakes-placed dam is by high-end sire Not This Time, who stands for $175k; trainer Simoff has a 28% strike rate with 2yo debut runners
7. Back Wall Bandit	Twice a scratch previously, this one had a zippy three-furlong move in final work

RACE 3

1. Where’s Ray	Has kept very good company and didn’t miss by much versus recent Wolf Hill winner Fierce and Strong four back
4. Psychedelic Shack	Look for him on the lead early, and possibly late, too
8. Noble Jon	Rising off back-to-back wins and never worse than third on the turf

5. Hoarding	Onetime 500k yearling just missed versus next-out winner on debut, and while follow-up was poor, that came on the lawn; gets back to preferred surface
3. Kaladin	Just missed in sprint versus similar in May
2. My Lucky Ace	Curious to see what sort of trip this one’ll have

RACE 5

11. Owhatanite	Sneaky good effort in latest turf outing when the only runner to close as top pair ran one-two around the track on soft ground
3. Icandothat	Who knows what you get with this one? Best efforts put him right there
8. Buck Run	Made good-looking middle move in most recent before tiring after wide journey in first seasonal outing
9. Blue Sky’s Syl	Last three are poor but prior efforts contend with these

Jockey Gabriel Maldonado had a hat trick Wednesday. Maldonado won aboard Compass Fire ($5.60) for trainer Christopher Seale, Doctor’s Orders ($5.00) for Giovanni Salinas, and La Tremenda ($8.40) for Victor Barboza, Jr.
Leading rider Jaime Rodriguez won twice, winning with Dominguez ($2.60), who dead-heated for the win with Fridayswithmurray and is trained by Mark Shuman, and with Dirty Gold ($5.20), trained by Kyle Horlacher…
Haileysfirstnotion ($3.20) won the day’s featured $48,000 allowance, zipping to the lead and inching to a 2 1/4-length victory under jockey Jean Briceno. Trained by Gary Capuano, Haileysfirstnotion is now 5-for-9 with over $195,000 in earnings…

6. Living Water	Speed of the speed ran a good one last out when all the other horses in the super closed from the rear
5. Practical Coach	Trainer Pino is 26% first off the claim
1. Leonids	Has had credible outings versus better

10. Smithwick’s Spice	9yo has earned over $730k, won this event a year ago, and should be a handful if drawing in
8. Magical Mondays	Makes third start of cycle and has not run a bad race on turf
9. Dalinar	Speedster makes second start off the bench
2. Crabs N Beer	Gets blinkers back on and has kept tough company

RACE 8

2. Meg’s Foxy Grey	Got a dream trip in latest to win easily but might find a similar route home in this spot; both wins are at 6f but has shown the ability to navigate two turns
7. Beautiful Blome	Addition of Lasix and drop into more manageable company have been big positives in this one’s last two
3. Stress Reliever	Fits with these

RACE 9

6. Padrino’s Gold	Flying late and brave between to prevail in latest outing; lightbulb on?
7. Wild Girl	Consistent sort
3. Bond’s Belle	Has been right there in a couple recent outings
