1. #8 Ms Daredevil (6-1) – Stretches out in distance from her debut, but ran the best of the starters and should be on the move in the late stages
2. #6 Red Violet (3-1) – Chad Brown trainee by Justify gets Flavian Prat for her debut and has worked slightly better than her stablemate who breaks to her inside
3. #2 Flighttown (9-2) – First half of the Pletcher entry where either could show promise as a first timer, but this filly by Practical Joke may have the edge
4. #4 Maiora (4-1) – Picked up a few lengths and passed two runners in the stretch first time out at six furlongs, now getting added distance with winning chances
Race 8 – MC 35000
1. #7 Circuit Court (8-1) – The only runner who was competitive in any try, and even if that was against lesser, this filly has at least shown an ability to stay close
2. #6 Darty Time (3-1) – Was overmatched in her debut, but may have adjusted poorly to a sloppy track and gets Flavian Prat in the irons here
3. #4 Cara’s Chianti (9-2) – Filly by Vino Rosso drops from high level maidens into this class and removes blinkers but will need to improve to contend
4. #3 Sheer Will (5-2) – Goes back to dirt and gets another crack at this class which should lead to some improvement from her last try
Race 9 – Grade II Amsterdam Stakes
1. #6 Gunmetal (9-2) – A prime contender on a fast track who should be sitting off of Macho Music early with a chance to pass him in the stretch
2. #5 Gate to Wire (5-1) – Didn’t take to the sloppy surfaces in his last two, but has the class to compete and should show improvement at this distance
3. #1 Macho Music (2-1) – Should certainly be on the lead over a speed biased track but may prefer other distances even if he wins if he controls a slower pace
4. #3 Smoken Wicked (6-1) – Seems better suited than Garamond to this distance, and should end up in the mix as Brian Hernandez’s lone mount of the day
Race 10 – MC 50000
1. #4 Professor Grace (5-1) – Put forth a career best effort last time in a step up in class and on turf, now dropping back down to maiden claiming
2. #5 Addagirl Addie (9-2) – Was much more competitive in her last two on turf, and at least proved that she can handle the distance which gives her a leg up on some others
3. #3 Catholic Edition (3-1) – Ran well in her debut against similar, but may need a bit more pace than what is in here to have a chance to close
4. #9 Practical Romance (4-1) – Dividend Recap hasn’t raced in nearly two years and despite more upside, this filly can stay in the mix with the class drop
