Off to the Races Radio: March 30 lineup

Off to the Races Radio, powered by The Racing Biz continues its 26th season of talking Thoroughbred racing Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m. The show will air for one hour each week on ESPN Richmond.

The program focuses on Thoroughbred racing and breeding in Virginia, around the Mid-Atlantic, and across the country and will air each Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Eastern on ESPN Richmond (106.1 FM) and via livestreaming. Starting in late March, the show will air simultaneously on ESPN Harrisonburg (106.9 FM and 1360 AM). And during the summer race meet at Colonial Downs, the program will expand to two hours.

The show will run through November 2. Each show will feature a mixture of interview segments, handicapping of the afternoon’s races, and news.

On March 30 hosts Nick Hahn and Frank Vespe will welcome in Ron Turcotte, David Longinotti, Darrell Wood, John Piassek, and more. Hall of Fame jockey Ron Turcotte is most famous for piloting Secretariat to Triple Crown glory in 1973. Longinotti is the former general manager at Oaklawn Park, which will host the Arkansas Derby Saturday. Wood will join the show to discuss all things Virginia, and Piassek will stop by to handicap a Laurel Park feature race.

Off to the Races Radio is presented by the Virginia Equine Alliance. In addition to the real-time ways to listen to Off to the Races, each episode will also be archived on The Racing Biz (www.theracingbiz.com).
