In this three-turn event for $12,500 claimers, #4 Mud Bug (6-5) has been second in each of last two outings and could be odds-on proposition in this spot for trainer David Walters. #7 He’s On Fire (9-5) merits respect here and looms the main threat to the top choice despite outside draw. #5 Chrome Heir (8-1) could complete several gimmicks at a decent price for trainer Crystal Pickett. #6 Cabar Sul (9-2) cannot be dismissed in this spot for trainer Anthony Farrior.

In this competitive, one-turn dash for $5,000 claiming fillies and mares, #7 Brushing (5-1) gets favorable outside draw and looks poised for mild upset here for trainer Bernard Dunham. #6 Valid Reason (10-1) for trainer Dewayne Johnson could be in ideal position throughout with chance for genuine surprise. #5 Mo Co Gold (5-2) looms the tepid choice in this spot. #4 Ding Ding (9-2) also could be poised for mild upset here.

In this interesting one-turn maiden special weight dash for state-breds, #4 Harley Sioux (9-5) has been second in last four outings and gets the nod as only four-year-old in the group for trainer William Straughn. #3 My Balboa (8-5) has been second, third and fourth in three career outings for trainer Mike Jones, Jr. and will get ample support in this spot. #9 Irish Wizard (8-1) makes career debut off a series of good works for trainer Tim Shanley and deserves a look here. #8 Restless Buster (6-1) also makes career debut for trainer Lewis Craig, Jr. off handful of good works and cannot be overlooked in initial outing.

In this two-turn allowance for fillies and mares, #2 Lucky Blonde (7-5) has finished second in a pair of stakes since winning the Sadie Hawkins Stakes for trainer Tim Grams and could be an odds-on proposition in this spot. #10 Midnight Heiress (3-1) won three back at Monmouth Park and makes local debut for trainer Jeff Runco. #3 Reveirs Minute (10-1) has tried stakes twice since allowance win last summer and could complete several gimmicks at a generous price. #6 Girls House (6-1) recorded a pair of wins at Colonial Downs this summer and deserves a look in this spot for trainer Mike Jones, Jr.
