Race 3 – Grade II Flower Bowl Stakes

1. #2 McKulick (4-5) – Not a lock here, but in a four horse field this Chad Brown trainee wins if she returns to her form from the Glens Falls and has plenty of back class to distinguish herself

2. #1 Parnac (6-1) – Nearly was able to win the Robert G. Dick Memorial at Delaware in her step up into grade III company in early July, and it is clear this filly loves longer distances

3. #4 Amazing Grace (7-5) – Has been a bit late on her closing moves recently, but gets one of the best turf closers in Joel Rosario for Clement and is more than capable of winning

Race 5 – Grade II Prioress Stakes

1. #4 Alva Starr (2-1) – Has never finished worse than second in four career tries all at this distance, and could show the most speed of this field with a chance to wire

2. #5 Dazzling Blue (6-5) – Undefeated at this distance and ran second against stronger competition last time, this filly by Into Mischief will be vying for the lead with Alva Starr here

3. #1 Jersey Pearl (3-1) – Drops out of the grade I Test last time where she finished fifth, but her two races before that put her squarely with the top runners here and she will be near the lead

4. #3 Unsung Melody (6-1) – Ran a distant third to the eventual Alabama winner last time early this meet, and returning back to six furlongs should benefit this filly who will be stalking

Race 8 – Harvey Pack Stakes

1. #5 Our Shot (2-1) – This Pennsylvania bred has been impressive recently, winning three of his last four including last time over this track and is always within striking distance on turf

2. #3 Thin White Duke (5-1) – Is very familiar with the Spa, typically putting forth strong efforts but seldom winning, and is a good play to find a way into the money here

3. #4 Big Invasion (7-5) – Drops from two grade I tries, and even if he doesn’t look as sharp as last year, this Clement trainee still has the top tier races to win here

4. #2 Dancing Buck (7-2) – Comes off a longer layoff from the fall, but prior to that this gelding had been running well and had some good efforts including a win here last year

Race 9 – Alw 95000n1x

1. #5 Sandy’s Garden (6-1) – This grey filly has a few races that could put her in the winner’s circle at a price here, including her try two back and should improve on a faster surface

2. #6 Athena Beach (6-1) – Has won all three tries at six furlongs, with some solid early speed and the ability to wire this field if she gets soft enough fractions on the front end

3. #10 Richies Princess (5-2) – Tough post, but a sneaky good jockey trainer combo given the small sample size and can be a threat on the lead if Irad gets her there

4. #8 Fancy Feline (8-1) – Probably doesn’t have the potential winning chances of long shot Easy Play, but could be one that picks up the pieces if the pace heats up and closes for a share

Race 10 – Alw 149500n1x

1. #9 Tallahatchiebridge (8-1) – Upon dropping into claiming company last time, this colt ran a career best at this distance, and now gets another chance at higher class with winning chances

2. #6 I’m Very Busy (7-2) – First time lasix for this Chad Brown trainee with Irad Ortiz, and has the back class and upwards trending speed figures that put her in the mix here

3. #8 Internet Capital (9-2) – The other Chad Brown trainee who runs for the meet’s leading owners in Klaravich Stables, this grey gelding by Tapit is an option if there is some pace here

4. #7 Royal Spirit (6-1) – This Linda Rice trainee has finished second in three straight, but has some recent speed figures that put him with the best here and should be in a good early spot

Race 11 – Grade I Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes

1. #1 Proxy (2-1) – Has shown the versatility to win from both on and off the pace, but will likely be moving from mid pack and ideally with a bit less ground to make up than Rattle N Roll

2. #4 Rattle N Roll (9-5) – Among the classiest of this bunch who is a clear win contender if he runs his best, this Pimlico Special winner needs to hope for a bit of pace to close into here

3. #5 Clapton (8-1) – Switches into the barn of Chad Summers for the first time after a decent second going this distance in the Suburban, and should have no problem with the distance

4. #8 Bright Future (6-1) – Was still pulling away from the field while winning at a nine furlongs last time, and despite less class this Todd Pletcher trainee has the upside to be a threat here

Race 12 – MC 40000

1. #6 Lem Me Drink (5-1) – Since returning to turf and dropping into maiden claimers, this filly has a few solid races and seems due for a breakthrough win off the bench here

2. #4 Camcha (2-1) – Had one of the best efforts of anyone in this field in her debut, and a repeat of that try with a bit of improvement probably would be enough to win

3. #5 Jannie Mae (10-1) – Will probably be aggressive here with Carmouche, and this is one that runs well when she gets to the early lead even if she tends to fade in the stretch

4. #3 Dream Road (6-1) – Not quite as sharp as the top couple in here, but her best race came on the turf at this distance against similar competition and adds blinkers
