VIDEO: Previewing the Sam Huff WV Breeders’ Classic

The Racing Biz West Virginia correspondent Ted Black stops by to help us preview Saturday’s Sam Huff West Virginia Breeders’ Classic!

The top race on the card, the 1 1/8-mile, $300,000 Classic has drawn a field of eight. That includes likely odds-on favorite and defending champ Muad’dib, who has won 10 of 11 career starts, the lone defeat a stellar runner-up effort in the Grade 2 Charles Town Classic.

But Muad’dib should get a test this year from Candy Invasion, whose two recent three-turn efforts have been a pair of wins in allowance company by a combined total of nearly 18 lengths.

Will it be the classy Muad’dib, the late-running Candy Invasion — or an outsider?
