Race #1 Picks: 5-4-2-6

Race #2 Picks: 2-5-6-3

Race #3 Picks: 8-1-6-2

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race for fillies and mares at 5 furlongs on the turf, #8 Lionessofbrittany (9-5) is making her third start of the year and looked good in her most recent race at Parx, where she had to be steadied early. If she gets a clean trip today she will be able to beat this group. #1 Catching the Wind (6-1) has lots of early speed on the turf and won two back at Penn. She fits very well here and may run a big race. #6 Maestria (7-2) is in good form and ran well in her only turf race here at Delaware. If she repeats that race from June she will be a contender. #2 Combat Queen (5-2) is a five-year-old making her turf debut but has been running well on the dirt and has good connections.

Race #4 Picks: 5-1-2-6

Race #6 Picks: 3-5-1-6

In this $12,500 claiming race for fillies and mares at 6 furlongs, #3 Rosy Apple (3-1) is taking a class drop and trainer John Rigattieri wins at a 36% clip in 25 tries when his horses take a 50% class drop. We think this filly is in a great spot to get her third win, and we have her on top. #5 Show’em  Who’s Boss (3-2) has won two of her last three and looked impressive in last. She has lots of early speed and should set the pace. She’s the one they will be chasing. #1 Luckbealadytonight (6-1) has been running well in lower level claiming races. Her speed figures say she will also be competitive at this level. #6 Psyche (10-1) is a lightly raced filly who is making her second start after a layoff and should improve.
