RACE NUMBERCONTENDERSCOMMENTS
Race 910-7-8-5Top choice #10 Scoop Dawg (8-1) took nine tries to break his maiden, finally doing so with a solid score two back. When he faced winners for the first time last out, he outran 7-1 odds to finish a good third in a strong try. Race 104-6-5-8Good debut for #4 Helosthismarbles (5-1), who finished just behind Far Mo Power; that runner graduated next out and took an allowance after that. He catches an easier group today in his first start for new connections… #6 Call It Love (3-1) drops into claiming company for the first time after five tries against better; he’s two starts and three months removed from his best efforts… #5 Late to the Show (4-1) also had a solid debut when an even fourth against state-bred special weight company and owns the right to improve today. The winner that day, Far Mo Power, returned to win next out, as well… #8 World Regard (10-1) makes his debut today for trainer Juan Vazquez (10% first starters); one of this one’s three siblings to race won at first asking…
