Eons looks for winning ways in Oceanport

Eons, winner of last year’s Grade 3 Kent Stakes , will look to recapture his good form Sunday in the Oceanport Stakes at Monmouth Park.

Jockey Joe Bravo won both of the graded turf stakes on the Haskell undercard at Monmouth, both times aboard the favorite.

Monmouth Park hosted the roster of mid-Atlantic stakes this weekend, including four graded events (among them the Grade 1 Haskell).

Guys Reward, a horse trainer Dale Romans describes as a “hard campaigner,” took the second graded stake of his 2014 season in the Grade 3 Oceanport.

Monmouth’s biggest weekend, plus a pair of state-bred stakes at Parx, are all on tap this weekend.
