MHBA announces ’25 yearling show purse premiums

Awards are based on purse earnings at two and three

Participants of the Maryland Horse Breeder Assocation’s Annual Yearling Show not only have the opportunity to take home ribbons and prize money at the show, but they are eligible for a portion of $40,000 in bonus awards from the Maryland-bred Fund.

Every yearling shown, regardless of class standing, is eligible for these cash awards which are split and distributed twice – $20,000 divided among the exhibitors of the four show contestants who earn the most money at 2 and another $20,000 divided among the exhibitors of the four highest-earning at 3.
