One to watch: Three Comma Glenn
Parx Racing saw the debut of one to watch March 23 when Three Comma Glenn powered to a 9 1/2-length victory in a $42,000 maiden special weight contest.
Under jockey Frankie Pennington, Three Comma Glenn was away alertly to press the pace, took over rounding the far turn, and drew away without being asked. Running time for the 6 1/2 furlongs on a fast main track was 1:19.24.

Three Comma Glenn is by Empire Maker out of the unraced Eskendereya mare Light of the Nile. He’s a three-year-old colt and was bred in Kentucky by Three Chimneys Farm LLC.
Three Comma Glenn has gone through the auction ring three times. He failed to meet his reserve at the Keeneland September sale in 2020 before selling weeks later at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky for $75,000. Then in June 2021, he sold for $180,000 to Cash Is King at the Ocala Breeders’ Sale of two-year-olds and horses in training.
Three Comma Glenn is trained by Butch Reid and started the year with Reid’s string at Gulfstream Park. He came north in February, however, and had posted three works over the strip, including consecutive five-furlong bullets March 7 and March 15.
In the race, he went off as the 9-10 favorite and looked every bit of that, leaving the field strung out behind him. Not only was he nine clear of the runner-up, but show horse Noble Gaston was 15 1/2 lengths behind the winner and fourth-place finisher That’s Right — the 3-1 seccond choice — was fully 25 lengths behind Three Comma Glenn.
