The winter storm that hit the Mid-Atlantic region this week, blanketing it with snow, sleet, and freezing rain, has forced Charles Town Races to cancel live racing for the second consecutive night.

Miss Harriett taking Weber City Miss swing
Two-time stakes winner Miss Harriett will take her biggest swing to date when she tackles Saturday’s Weber City Miss at Laurel Park.

The track announced the cancellation on Twitter. Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday with a 10-race program. The 2020 season concludes Saturday evening with another 10-race card.

Live racing for tonight, Thursday December 17th, has been canceled as a result of the winter storm.
