The 2021 Timonium meet – back after a one-year Covid-spurred hiatus – sees some changes that organizers hope will spur growth.
The Timonium race meet will take place August 27-September 6, the Maryland State Fair announced today, highlighted by increased purses and a new stake.
With complications in the project to redo the dirt course at Laurel Park, racing is now expected to continue at Pimlico until August 27 Timonium meet.
With Laurel Park closed for the renovation of its main track, the Timonium fairgrounds has turned into the largest training center in the state.
