Hoping the mediocre dirt form and relatively infrequent turf tries darken the form of #2 Real Men Violin enough to get us a price; ran well enough against similar two back… #4 Cafe La Paix may have run off with his rider in latest, setting blazing splits before caving late; unlikely to do so with leading rider Lopez up… #12 Don’t Copy Me was dead game in latest…

RACE 4: 1-2-7-3

#1 Chelsea Wall drops, and while her last couple aren’t great, she’s not far removed from efforts that win this… #2 Buckin’ Right could the main speed here, while #7 Winkiwinki likely is pressing the early pace…

RACE 5: 8-5-3-7

#8 Cloud Music appears to be the lone speed in this starter contest, and if he shakes away, he might be tough to reel in; his running style might suggest the distance would be a test, but don’t sleep on the 3-for-3 record at the trip… #5 Ironsides enters in very good form, with two straight wins, but in both he got ideal setups with fast paces falling apart; not clear he’ll get that here… Veteran #3 Sky’s Not Falling has been making his way down the class ladder in recent starts but still has plenty of back class and nearly $600k banked…

RACE 6: 7-2-5-6

#2 Pink Rose scratched out of a Friday race at Parx for this spot, and certainly if she can get back to her better form, she’ll win here, but she’s been pretty well beaten her last couple (including at 1-5 two back), and we suspect she’ll get bet strongly again here, so we’ll hunt a little bit and see if #7 Shkhara Fire can rediscover her better form in this spot (at a more enticing price)…

RACE 7: 5-7-1-2

#5 Americandreammaker couldn’t be in better form: she’s won four straight while moving up the class ladder and has done it while pressing and stalking, so versatility is a plus… #7 Tongue Twister has kept better company, and the Brion barn is 7-for-30 with an ROI over $3.00 on grass the last 30 days… #1 Racey Ruby also enters in good form…
