Race #1 Picks: 2-5-3-4

Race #2 Picks: 9-12-8-7

Race #3 Picks: 1-6-5-2

Race #4 Picks: 7-1-6-8

Race #5 Picks: 5-1-3-4

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race at six furlongs, #5 Even Thunder (8-1) is trying sprinting after competing in routes recently. He has two wins in eleven starts at this distance. Recent bullet work indicates he might be ready for a strong effort. #1 Federal Case (6-1) has consistently run speed figures in the 70s. Won easily in her last start here at Delaware and may like the surface. #3 Satchel de Ritches (6-1) has won at this level and should be in the mix. #4 Grand Wiser (2-1) is a speedball that will be looking to steal the race. There is some other early speed in here, but if he can get free he’ll be dangerous.

Race #6 Picks: 5-6-1-8

Race #7 Picks: 6-4-2-5

In This optional claiming/starter allowance race at one mile, #6 Award Nominated (9-2) won a route race at Delaware park last month with a 73 speed figure. He seems to be in good form and we have him on top today. #4 Burgee (2-1) won a $30,000 claiming race at Monmouth in last. This gelding has shown a strong closing kick recently and will be in the mix.  #2 Brawndo (3-2) appears to be the class of the race. Won at Churchill and then took a break and ran well at Laurel and Saratoga. However, this gelding has never won a route on the dirt. His only route win was on synthetic. This gives us some pause, particularly at short odds. #5 Wish for Peace (10-1) ran second to Award Nominated here at Delaware two back and fits well with these.

Race #8 Picks: 7-6-1-3
