RACE NUMBERCONTENDERSCOMMENTS
Race 13-1-5-6Improved effort last time out from #3 Addy’s Love (2-1 morning line), who made the lead but tired to third after being hounded every step of the way by the winner. Doesn’t seem to be much early lick in here, which might leave this one all alone up front… #1 Taptap (6-5) was a clear second in Addy’s Love’s most recent race and actually has already won this race but was DQed, according to the chart, for a positive. In prior 4 1/2-furlong tries, this one has been outfooted early and left with too much to do, which could well be the case again tonight… #5 Fifty Gray Shades (10-1) makes her career bow here at age four; her only sib to race has won two of five and won at second asking, and this miss has been training forwardly… We’ll give one more crack to #6 Pipers Gold (6-1), who ran poorly last out in her first start in 200+ days; she has efforts good enough to contend here…
Race 62-4-7-6In his first local try, last out, #2 You Go Boy (5-1) finished third after overcoming a bit of a rough trip, in which he was steadied early and wide late. If he can clean that up a bit, he contends with these… #4 Command the Cat (5-2) has been second or third four straight versus similar… #7 Castle Five (2-1) looks to be the speed in this contest and will be the one to catch but is a little light on class… #6 Ring the Bella (3-1) has proven to be competitive at this level…
