The winter storm that hit the Mid-Atlantic region this week, blanketing it with snow, sleet, and freezing rain, has forced Charles Town Races to cancel live racing for the second consecutive night.
- Book’em Danno threepeats as NJ-bred Horse of the Year
Book’em Danno, who won four of five starts in 2025, including a Grade 1, has been named champion NJ-bred for the third straight time.
The track announced the cancellation on Twitter. Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday with a 10-race program. The 2020 season concludes Saturday evening with another 10-race card.
