Motion headlines Saturday’s “Off to the Races” radio show

Off to the Races on The Racing Biz Radio Network returns to talk horse racing Saturday, February 25 for its third show of the 2017 season.

Graham Motion, trainer of Kentucky Derby hopeful Irish War Cry, headlines the list of guests. He will join the show for its final segment.

The one-hour program will air at 10:00 a.m. each Saturday on Richmond’s ESPN 950 AM.  Additional stations will be announced as they come online.

The show will focus on Thoroughbred racing and breeding around the mid-Atlantic region and across the country.

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races track photographer Katherine Turnbull will join the show in an earlier segement to discuss life behind the camera. In addition, Linda Dougherty, reporter for The Racing Biz, will come on to discuss the difficult situation facing horse racing and breeding in New Jersey.

As always, Derby Bill Watson will provide his handicapping acumen.

“The Triple Crown trail is heading up, and we’re excited to have a visit from a Kentucky Derby winner in Graham Motion,” said Frank Vespe, owner-publisher of The Racing Biz.  “And our entire guest list for the program should give listeners plenty of interesting insights to chew over.”
