Midlantic breeders among those earning TOBA awards

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will, at its annual TOBA awards dinner, name its breeders and owners of the year.

Concern, the first Maryland-bred to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic, is one of two horses to enter the Maryland Thoroughbred Hall of Fame this year.

Today in Racing History, 1994 Breeders’ Cup Classic champ Concern, a Maryland-bred, made his ’95 debut a winning one at the Fair Grounds.
