Due to the winter weather moving through the region later today, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has canceled its live racing program for Thursday evening, January 6. Live racing is currently slated to resume on Friday, January 7 with a first race post time of 7:00 P.M. EST.
- Hidden Overture plays winning tune in Selima
On an eventful Saturday at Laurel Park, jockey Julian Pimentel earned his first stakes win in five years as Hidden Overture won the Selima.
The Thursday card was slated to begin at 7:00 p.m., as well. But snow is forecasted to begin falling in Charles Town at about that time and to continue into Friday, with three to six inches of accumulation predicted.
