Due to the winter weather moving through the region later today, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has canceled its live racing program for Thursday evening, January 6. Live racing is currently slated to resume on Friday, January 7 with a first race post time of 7:00 P.M. EST.
- Millionaire Muad’dib retired
Two-time Sam Huff West Virginia Breeders’ Classic winner Muad’dib, West Virginia racing’s latest millionaire, has been retired, his owner said.
The Thursday card was slated to begin at 7:00 p.m., as well. But snow is forecasted to begin falling in Charles Town at about that time and to continue into Friday, with three to six inches of accumulation predicted.
