MEADOWLANDS TURF MEET TO KICK OFF OCTOBER 1

A seven-day Monmouth-at-Meadowlands Thoroughbred meet, featuring all turf racing, will span the month of October starting Friday, Oct. 1, it was announced today.
First race post time will be 7 p.m. for the six-race programs at the East Rutherford facility.

Live racing will be conducted on Friday and Saturday the first two weeks of the month, on Oct. 1 and 2 and Oct. 8 and 9.
There will also be live racing on Friday, Oct. 15, and on the final two Saturdays of the month – Oct. 23 and 30.
The dates are pending approval by the New Jersey Racing Commission during its next scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
The final day of the 55-day Monmouth Park meet is Sunday, Sept. 26.
