CT: Maskedandmummed sharp in It’s Binn Too Long
Sophomore filly wins third straight stake
Maskedandmummed picked up where she left off.
A winner of two straight stakes to end 2025, the 3-year-old Candygram filly sat a good trip under Antonio Lopez before powering home to win the It’s Binn Too Long Stakes for state-bred three-year-old fillies Saturday at Charles Town Races.

Off at 5.60-1 in a wide-open field, Maskedandmummed overcame some pre-race antics to post a determined three-quarter-length victory in the 4 ½-furlong dash over a sloppy, sealed surface. Breaking from post 5, she settled in midpack while Priority One carved out a 22.22-second opener. Racing three wide around the turn, Maskedandmummed tipped even farther out approaching the lane, found a clear path four deep, and surged past the leaders inside the final furlong.

Truth and Justice, who also acted up in the gate, rallied belatedly from near the back to secure second, three-quarters of a length behind the winner. Edy’s Flame chased on evenly to complete the trifecta, while God’s Pride closed ground late to grab fourth. The top six finishers were all within three lengths of the front.
The heavily favored Karina Anna, sent off at 7-10, never factored after encountering traffic in the stretch and finished sixth.
Trained by Ronald Sigler for Casey’s Legacy, LLC, Maskedandmummed completed the distance in 53.63 seconds. She returned $13.20 to win.
With the victory, Maskedandmummed improved her record to four wins from eight starts with earnings of $168,323. The win marked her third consecutive stakes triumph, following scores in last November’s James and Eleanor Casey Memorial and West Virginia Futurity. Saturday’s effort came in her seasonal debut.
Bred in West Virginia by Casey’s Legacy LLC, Maskedandmummed is by Candygram out of Mummers Parade, a daughter of Street Sense. She hails from a productive family that includes her half-sister Juba’s Parade, a stakes winner of more than $300,000.
