5. Mexicali Mike	Drops in for a tag for the first time
2. Candy Man Can	Had a horrible stumbling start in latest but ran pretty well all things considered; has been beaten at odds-on in two of last three

RACE 2

3. Stolen Secrets	Bullsbay filly is the only one here to have shown a sign of talent; not sure cutback does her any favors, but…
5. Zero Degrees	Trainer Runco has a strong record with first-timers, but the same cannot be said of sire Keen Ice (4% with firsters), who also generally gets horses who want more ground; still, could come running for a piece
2. River Plate	Gets blinkers on

RACE 3

5. Ivyleaguedropout	Looks for third straight win and a stalk-and-pounce trip behind what might be a lively pace
4. Navy Band	Dueled with 3-5 fave Overnight Pow Wow in the Cavada before stopping; this one or #7 Poppy Mac likely survives the early action
2. Impressionism	Ran pretty well with astute ride from Boca in the WVBC Distaff and likely to get a lively pace to run into here

2. Don’t Blink	Dueled inside as the 2-5 fave in latest but pace rival impeded her when beginning to clear; trainer Brown is 19% first off the claim
4. Cruzin Van Nuys	Troubled trip in latest; in prior start finished just behind top choice
1. Collegeville Queen	Her debut wasn’t terrible and came against much better in a race that’s produced two next-out winners — but you have to wonder what she’s doing in this spot

RACE 5

2. Memory Bouquet	Nice win against similar in latest and shifts into Farrior barn (26% first off the claim); has early zip but likely to bide his time in this spot
7. Classic Joke	Beaten favorite in two straight versus similar, now sheds blinkers for the first time since career debut
4. Stormproof	Not inclined to judge the last, behind runaway next out WVBC Sam Huff Classic winner, too harshly; prior form fits

RACE 6

5. The Commack Kid	Pricey Game Winner gelding shifts into Viands barn and picks up leading rider Bocachica; prior dirt try came versus better in a race that’s produced a next-out winner
2. Pico Plat	Speedy sort gets 10-pound bug in the irons
1. Ragtime Scribble	Gradually improving

RACE 7– My Sister Pearl Stakes

2. Jubaslilballerina	One of only two here with a win at nine furlongs, that coming in her last start in the WVBC Distaff; the horse pressing her early in latest faded to last
1. Petty Perfect	The most talented of the group, but how low do you wanna go on a horse trying three turns for the first time? Likely gets a stalk-and-pounce trip
7. The Sky Is Falling	Late-running sort hasn’t been great in prior 3-turn tries but may get a pace to run into

RACE 8

7. Mi Kataleya	Figures to be gunning for the lead and against this group might get it; stopped going two turns in latest but should appreciate the cutback
4. New York Lights	Prior tries versus similar are competitive
