Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races requested and has received formal approval from the West Virginia Racing Commission to add Wednesday, April 23 to its live racing calendar. The move comes after the rain-shortened cards on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 and the 13 races that were lost as a result.

Entries for the special Wednesday card will be taken on Friday, April 18th. Lost races will be continue to be brought back as extras on daily overnights.

Live racing takes place Thursday through Saturday at its standard first post time of 7 p.m. ET.
