| 6. Captain Quint | Stoked up a strong rally to win Md-bred allowance three back going seven-eighths; if the pace heats up – and it very well could – this one will be running late |
| 3. Run Poppy | Tough beat in last when leading a long way before getting run down late in first try of the season; should be a forward factor and drawn outside the other main speed (#1) |
