In this $20,000 claiming race for three-year-olds or older N3L at one mile, #5 Guillaume (9-5) is taking a class drop and almost won an allowance race here in June. He didn’t like the turf at Colonial and is now back on the dirt. He will be facing the weakest field of his career and should score today. #1 Speak Unity (8-5) won his last two on the dirt as the favorite and will probably go off the favorite again today. He will press the pace and will look to take the lead in the final furlong. #6 Turnpike Bob (4-1) is a speedball who has run well in his last three, including a 9 ½ length victory at Penn in last. He will try to take them gate to wire, which might work well on the Delaware track. #4 Ekati’s Verve (6-1) has some decent speed figures here at Delaware. Just missed last time when he ran into some traffic.
