Carryovers: None Notes: Main track fast, turf fast

Race #1 Picks: 7-1-2-6

Race #2 Picks: 2-3-1-7

Race #3 Picks: 8-3-2-6

Race #4 Picks: 6-2-5-1

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race at one mile and 70 yards, #6 Union Fleet (9-5) had the lead but got passed by a deep closer in last, but he still ran a decent speed figure. This 3-year-old seems to be figuring out what racing is about. #2 Shady Munni (8-1) occasionally throws in good races and finished a length-and-a-half behind top choice in last. #5 La Flecha (12-1) won two straight before being distanced in last. May get a minor award.

Race #5 Picks: 7-11-9-1

Race #6 Picks: 6-7-3-4

Race #7 Picks: 8-6-7-5

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race for fillies and mares at about 5 furlongs on the turf, #8 Afandi (2-1) won in her only try here at Delaware Park back in May, followed by a win at Laurel. She never appeared to get her footing in her last in Woodbine, where it looked like she didn’t like the surface. We think she will get back to her winning ways today.  #6 Princess Javoncia (4-1) will be making her first start at Delaware after winning a turf route race at Laurel in last. She has had some success sprinting on synthetic. #7 Bath And Tennis (3-1) has run several good turf sprints recently and looks well placed here. Trainer has a low winning percentage on the turf, which is a concern.  #5 She Broke My Heart (8-1) will be trying the Delaware turf for the first time after running evenly at Monmouth. Looking to improve, and the change to the Delaware surface could help.

Race #8 Picks: 2-5-1-7
