Race #1 Picks: 3-5-2-1

Race #2 Picks: 7-5-3-2

Race #3 Picks: 5-4-8-2

Race #4 Picks: 1-3-5-6

In this $7500 claiming race for N3L at 6 furlongs, #1 Stormy Bonnie (5-2) is getting class relief today and will be competing for the early lead. He won at Delaware last year, and we have him on top today.  #3 Opus Equus (9-5) has been having a bad year but showed some life in last try here at Delaware after a four-month break. If he can improve last effort and approach anywhere near last year’s form, he will be a competitor today. #5 Jaime Jamel (7-2) was competitive in his last two races here at Delaware and does not have much to beat to get the show spot today. #6 Hail Southern (8-1) has early speed but will need some other horses to falter for him to make it into the trifecta.

Race #5 Picks: 1-3-10-2

Race # 6 Picks: 5-6-2-1

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race at 6 furlongs, #5 Ellas My Love (12-1) has not won lately, but has the speed figures to be very competitive with this group. Didn’t fire last time at Laurel, but held his own against some tough horses here at Delaware two back. We have this longshot on top today. #6 Mutakaamil (5-2) won the last two times he tried the Delaware dirt course. His recent speed figures put him right in the mix for the top spot today. #2 Shoot Themessenger (9-5) ran a strong race to just miss the top spot with $12,500 N2L claimers last out. He’s in a pretty good spot here and should be in the mix. #1 Binkster (7-2) is coming from Monmouth where he was facing tougher and is one to consider for exotics.

Race #7 Picks: 3-6-2-5

Race #8 Picks: 6-7-3-1
