RACE NUMBERCONTENDERSCOMMENTS
Race 71-5-3-2#1 Jim’s Bronze Star (5-2): Ships in From Monmouth Park looking to make it four in a row. Won last gate to wire for $30,000 N3L. Can prove to be the best in a very competitive race as long as she gets away well. Broke her maiden in 17th career start to kick off win streak.
#5 Centre Court Champ (3-1): She won same race last time out and is main threat to top pick. The trip will decide the outcome.
#3 Gravitron (7-2): Dropping back to a sprint and owns a two-race win streak. Shipping in from Laurel for trainer Jamie Ness.
#2 Sapphire Royalty (6-1): She was second last out going off as lukewarm favorite in same spot. Needs things to go her way to earn a share.
Race 103-7-4-5#3 Wudda U Think Now (3-1): Ships in from Belmont base and won a NY-bred stake last out back in February. Looking to make it three wins in a row. Trainer Rudy Rodriguez is 25% coming off the bench, and works say he is ready for top effort.
#7 Fortheluvofbourbon (4-1): Won PA-bred Page McKenney Stakes last out over Beren, who returned with another good effort when second behind Ny Traffic in the Chocolate Town. This one hasn’t raced since April, and trainer Mike Pino is 16% off the bench. Needs the trip in a very competitive race.
#4 Dreams Untold (5-1): He was second in the Washington Crossing last out and can earn a major share for trainer John Servis.
#5 Monday Morning Qb (6-1): Hasn’t been out since Nov. 2020 when he finished third in the G3 Discovery. Plenty of back class – easily won the 2020 Maryland Million Classic over Harper’s First Ride, who’d won the G3 Pimlico Special one race prior – and works say he can upset top pick for trainer Butch Reid.
