RACE NUMBER | CONTENDERS | COMMENTS |
Race 7 | 4-5-2-7 | In this second-level allowance/optional claimer, Florida invader #4 We Miss Susie (7-2) has had good outings her last three races coming off the bench. She faced better in Florida and looks like she is rounding into form. If she runs a big one today, she’ll be the one to beat… #5 Excitable Lady (5-1) makes her third start off the bench. In her last start, in the Unique Bella, she didn’t run poorly despite a bad break and a troubled trip. An alert start with these makes her very playable in a very competitive race… #2 Precious (2-1) also exits the same race as Excitable Lady, and she broke slowly and had traffic problems of her own. If she gets away running for trainer John Servis, that would make her a major threat to top pick…#7 Map Of America (5-1) has won two of her last three starts and steps up today in class. |
Race 10 | 4-5-6-3 | #6 Bucks Some (4-1) won two of her last four races, which makes her the horse to beat in this starter contest .It’s a very competitive race, but this mare from the winning barn of Phil Aristone has the ability…#7 Dilly Dilly Philly (3-1) won her last two at Laurel. She has had success at Parx before and faced better last couple for Leading trainer Ness. If she makes the lead, she can take it gate to wire and is the chief threat to our top pick…#3 Fleeterthan (6-1) won her last easily against similar, and a repeat of last will make her a major threat today. The short sprint distance should help… #1 Peak of Chic (8-1) returns to her home track after faring poorly in last start versus NY-breds at Aqueduct. She is in the same spot she won two starts back, and a repeat of that makes her a player with these. |
