How’d we do last time at Parx?

Race 4	2-6-3-1	Top choice #2 Look What I Found (5-1) makes her first start in Kelly Rubley’s barn after a couple of middling tries down at Gulfstream. The change of scenery and a bit of time away might help a runner who’s made only three starts to date, as may the addition of rider Paco Lopez, who’s 6-for-11 in limited Parx attempts… #6 Taqseemaat (5-2) makes the big drop from special weight company at Belmont and Churchill down to maiden claimers here. This one shifts into the Pino barn here and has been training well enough — but she hasn’t run since October… First-timer #3 Rapidamente (10-1) is a daughter of Seville making her debut here. The late Seville was a turf ace on the racetrack, though that mostly hasn’t passed on to his progeny. Trainer Ernesto Padilla-Preciado is 2-for-3 with first-time starters… #1 Pepper Pot (9-2) ran on a bit late last out to get fourth against lesser and here makes her second start of the year. That race has produced a next-out winner…
Race 7	5-2-7-6	Favored #5 Jamminwithbrandon (2-1) earned his third straight victory last out against similar in a race tarnished by the fatal breakdown of a rival. He could be the main speed here once again… Let’s see if #2 Colonel Juan (6-1) can get back on the right path here. The veteran has some good efforts in his background, and though that last was poor, he’s not too far removed from competitive tries at this level. He’ll make his first start in the Daniel Velazquez barn (22% first off the claim)… #7 Koan (7-2) beat similar two back but got thumped by better last out… #6 Midnight Act (4-1) has been beaten by both Jamminwithbrandon (last out) and Koan (two back), which makes him hard to love on top, but he can be competitive for a share…
