How’d we do last time at Parx?

RACE NUMBERCONTENDERSCOMMENTS
Race 92-9-7-5In his first try against winners #2 Splitzville (8-1) was a bit slow out of the gate and outfooted early before running on into the triple. It was a perfectly credible effort and one to build on; today he gets a slightly longer distance and a field that seems to have enough early types to give him a pace to close into… The speedy #9 Danzafied (4-1) crushed our top choice three back and has crafted a streak of four straight races in the exacta after coming back off the bench. He’ll have to contend with other speed in here but should be a player… It’s been a while since #7 Incite (7-2) saw the racetrack; he hasn’t raced since last June. But he showed promise earlier, races for the John Servis barn, which can get them ready to win off the bench, and has bee training forwardly towards his return here… #5 Perfect Daydream (15-1) ran huge four back to finish third in allowance company at 109-1. Since, he’s had two races in the slop and the third at a mile; he may get back to his best game here today…
Race 107-10-2-4Let’s see if the speedy #7 Optic Way (5-1) can build off that last. In what was his first start in just about three months, he led for a long way before fading in the final furlong to be fourth. He should be fitter today — enough to take them all the way? #10 Irish Cork (4-1) enters in good form and fits nicely here. No shame in his runner-up effort behind Dreams Untold; that runner then went up to Aqueduct to finish second behind a $2.5 million horse while 16 clear of the rest; the sixth-place finisher that day came back to win… #2 Confessor (6-1) just keeps running good races at this level… #4 Flat Out Beautiful (7-2) took down this condition three back and shows up here for the tag. He more than fits here, though note he did finish behind Irish Cork two back…
