Laurel Park has canceled its Saturday, January 24 live racing card, Vice President of Communications Mike Gathagan said on Twitter moments ago.

Sal Sinatra “just informed me he has canceled Saturday’s 9-race card Laurel Park due to track conditions and the pending storm,” Gathagan tweeted.

The card was to have included two stakes for three-year-olds, the Frank Whiteley, Jr. and the Marshua, the latter for fillies.  Sinatra indicated that they would be run next week.

The cancellation marked the track’s third straight.  Its last live card was Saturday, January 17.
