Baltimore Bob, the Maryland-bred son of Malibu Moon whose best victory came in the 2010 Henry S. Clark Stakes at Pimlico, will return to his home state to stand stud at Shamrock Farm, the Maryland Horse Breeders Association has reported (here).

Out of the winning Perkin Warbeck mare Gabby’s Love, Baltimore Bob won 11 races and more than $380,000 in a career that ended in 2012.  In addition to the Clark, he also won the Da Hoss at Colonial and the Grand Prairie Turf Challenge at Lone Star, all at one mile on the grass.  He is a half-brother to stakes winners Baltimore Belle and Gabianna.

Another half-sister, Love Me Twice, is the dam of hard-hitting stakes star Action Andy.

Baltimore Bob will stand for $3,000 live foal.
