MD Racing Commission clarifies Lasix rule

The Maryland Racing Commission Thursday modified its Lasix rule to avoid penalizing horses racing out of town and tightened its clenbuterol regs.

Stakeholders representing the seven Mid-Atlantic states have agreed to impose strict controls over the use of clenbuterol.
