The season opener at Charles Town Races will have to wait. The track canceled its January 8 card, marking the third straight day it could not run.

The season opener is now slated for Wednesday, January 12. Post time is 7:00 p.m.

Maida favored in Weather Vane in step up to stakes company
Maida, 2-for-3 in her young career, will try to make the step up into stakes company in Saturday’s Weather Vane at Laurel Park.

Live racing for tonight, Saturday January 8th has been canceled.
