Race 7 – OC 45000n2x

1. #5 Starship Pegasus (7-2) – Has the strongest recent class with solid speed figures and two wins at the distance with her best running coming near the lead and should be there early

2. #4 Nonna Lynne (4-1) – Has finished in the top two in six straight tries for Chad Brown, with her top races comparing well to this group especially at this level

3. #8 Mommy’s Turn (3-1) – Won a state bred stakes here last summer, but came off a long layoff from that one to fade into fourth last time so needs to rebound here with top connections to have chances

4. #7 Golden Rocket (6-1) – Seems to run her best in turf routes with a pair of good efforts in the fall, and now gets back to those here and should contend for the top four

Race 8 – Grade II Shuvee Stakes

1. #3 Fully Subscribed (2-1) – Hasn’t been quite as sharp as last year, but should run better off the bench and is the only runner here with two wins at the distance

2. #4 Scottish Lassie (9-5) – Has the two most visually impressive wins of this field both over this track, but stretches in distance and faces a pair from the Phipps who have chances

3. #5 Bless the Broken (7-2) – Should improve off of the Ogden Phipps and gets Irad Ortiz here who will be in the right stalking position with a chance late

4. #7 Valtellina (20-1) – Eunomia may be distance limited despite being classier, and this filly ran well in defeat last time out over this track with the right running style to end up in the top four

Race 9 – Rick Violette Stakes

1. #6 A Little At First (2-1) – Has run his best when stalking the lead as opposed to his other three efforts from well off the pace, and gets Irad Ortiz here who should keep him in the mix early

2. #7 Caroline St. Beat (3-1) – Off a longer layoff but ran well in a stakes try second time out with good connections and the upside to be a winner here

3. #2 Voodoo Doll (7-2) – Unblemished in three tries, this colt should prefer the mile and a sixteenth more than the inside breaking Spirit of New York who has been better in sprints

4. #4 Manor Park (10-1) – Chummers ran well last time but faced claimers while this gelding appears to be on the improve and won over this track just two weeks ago

Race 10 – Mdn 115k

1. #7 Orgonite (9-2) – Adds blinkers and has run on in nearly every stretch run in his career, simply needing more ground to close into with Velazquez in the irons here

2. #9 War and Majesty (6-1) – Finished second by four and three-quarters last time out at this distance, and has winning chances with a mid pack trip in this spot from Luis Saez

3. #4 Gold Sovereign (4-1) – Tough to ignore these connections despite a tough outing last time out, but this gelding has shown a desire for more distance and gets it here

4. #8 Daunting (8-1) – Instantly also deserves a look in this difficult field, but this colt should improve with added ground and keeps Jose Ortiz here
