RACE 1: CLAIMING $5,000 (N/W2L), 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 4 FURLONGS
- #5 – Tik Tok Daddy (3-1): Should improve on the switch back to dirt and the drop in class for Anthony Farrior.
- #4 – Nano Man (6-5): Has hit the board in his two local starts against these types; hard to take a short price on a 1-for-29 runner, however.
- #3 – Quahog Republic (8-1): Didn’t like wet tracks in his last two starts, but will get to return to a fast surface here.
RACE 2: ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING (N/W2X), 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, 6 1/2 FURLONGS
- #3 – Embrace the Moment (9-5): Hit a class wall at Colonial Downs last out, but this field looks much more appealing from her perspective.
- #4 – Sheilahs Warcloud (3-1): Tends to cycle in and out of her best form, but she’s hitting her best stride right now.
- #1 – Vanilla (2-1): Has won three of her last five starts and should get a great trip on the rail.
RACE 3: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $12,500, 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, 1 MILE
- #2 – Ineedyoubabe (2-1): Won four of her last five dirt races across three different states; her last start on grass was dismal, but should rebound here.
- #1 – Ginger Girl (5-2): Has early speed in a race without much of it – a dangerous combination in any race, let alone one at the big T.
- #5 – Bugged Out (6-1): Ran well against decent foes in her last few starts at Penn National; she’ll likely get first jump if Ginger Girl tires.
RACE 4: MAIDEN CLAIMING $12,500, 3-6 YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES AND MARES, 4 FURLONGS
- #4– Snowboarder (3-1): This speedy filly has shown more stamina with every start, and this looks like a prime opportunity to break her maiden in her eighth attempt.
- #5 – I’mamaterialgirl (4-1): She’s been pounding on the door in her last few races; she’ll break it down sooner or later.
- #2 – Forty Seven Smoker (5-2): Her recent grass races have been great, but she’s never run a lick on dirt, making her tough to gauge.
RACE 5: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $20,000, 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 1 MILE
- #1 – Dolice Vita (8-5): Hasn’t won this year, but his only bad race came first off a seven-week layoff last out; if he can stay somewhat close to the pace, he’ll be tough.
- #6 – Union Fleet (5-2): Another one whose held his own against better for a while.
- #3 – Holy Synchronicity (3-1): He has the best early pace figures in a race without much speed; it would pay Warren Ebow to be aggressive with his mount.
RACE 6: MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT, 2-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES, 4 FURLONGS
- #1 – Shanghai Rose (2-1): She’s shown speed and faded in both of her starts, but she’s now facing an inexperienced field with a great post.
- #2 – Whose Notion (9-5): Was beaten less than four lengths after racing just off the lead on debut last out.
- #4 – Sorica (6-1): Hugh McMahon trainee looks like the most interesting of the three debuters; keep an eye on the board.
RACE 7: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $25,000, 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 6 1/2 FURLONGS
- #4 – Yes I Will (9-5): Looks primed to make the early lead and not look back.
- #1 – Divine Child (8-1): Ran a respectable race first off a 17-month layoff last out and should improve here.
- #6 – Blanches Mule (7-2): Can run well from on or off the pace.
RACE 8: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $12,500, 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, 6 1/2 FURLONGS
- #6 – Green Eyed Monster (2-1): Hasn’t shown much on the track lately, but her backclass must be respected.
- #5 – Dine and Dash (6-1): Won against softer last out and is in improving form.
- #2 – Bellofthebluegrass (9-2): Has speed from the inside and is sure to protect position under Arnaldo Bocachica.
